Help Make My First Album a Reality

Okay, deep breath, here we go! I am launching my first-ever fundraiser to make my first-ever album. It's wild that I've gotten this far along in work and in life as a professional musician without having one.

Performances happen—and there have been hundreds over the course of my career—then poof: they evaporate. I’m fortunate to have some live archival recordings as proof. But if you search for me on any music streaming platform, there’s only a song here or there on someone else’s compilation. No professional recordings that are entirely my own work.

I’m relieved to say that’s finally about to change! After our test run, Kate, Alan, and I will record an EP of the songs we’re about to perform on our upcoming house concerts later this month. If you can’t be part of our live test audience, don’t despair, because we are determined to get a definitive recording out into the world once and for all.

I will, however, need a boost to get there. If we’re gonna do it, we’re gonna do it up right, and this is an expensive process, even with just two musicians and relatively simple needs.
