Coming to a Campus Near You
Lest you think Oberlin Conservatory is the only campus where my work is popping up this academic year, there’s more where that came from! Here’s what’s coming back to school so far:
An alumni recital by mezzo Kate Tombaugh, who wowed audiences as The Dough in Fort Worth’s world premiere production of Companionship, featuring a set of my cabaret songs in November at Illinois Wesleyan University
A faculty recital by soprano Amanda Pabyan starting off with my setting of “Music for a While” that I wrote especially for her in 2013, also in November at Central Michigan University
The second-ever production of No Ladies in the Lady’s Book at University of Alabama in March
Ethel Smyth Plays Golf in Limbo at Carthage College in April
I’m so happy to see that my work is reaching students all over the country. Check out the Events Calendar for specifics on all of the above, and stay tuned for more updates!
