OPERA America New Works breakout panel June 20th
I have the distinct honor of speaking on a panel about Repertoire Development for Teen Singers at this year's OPERA America conference. I'm joining an incredible group of distinguished professionals from all aspects of the opera field, and I'm still a bit pleasantly shocked that they've included me! This will be an extra special homecoming for me as it's in St. Louis, where I grew up, and the conference is hosted by Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, where I sang in the children's chorus of Verdi's Falstaff as a teenager. If you are attending the conference, I hope you'll come to the session at 2:00 p.m. on June 20th and hear us talk about why it's important to create new works for the next generation to sing. Complete information is available in my Events calendar. See you there!
